ISO trainingsweekend

DAS is a member of ISO (interstedelijk student overleg) which is the umbrella for all the university and HBO councils in the Netherlands. Apart from providing valuable information and advice they also host a yearly training weekend which was of course attended by our fraction! During this weekend multiple workshops were organized, for example about the legal rights students have in the university council, how to handle and get media attention or how to properly gather input from the student body we represent.

We also had a great with all the other students from different parts of the Netherlands. It was really valuable to exchange so many ideas and experiences with our peers, this connection with other cities is invaluable since they face many of the same challenges as us.
