As a student at TU/e, I believe the university must adapt to the changing needs of its students. One of the key goals of the student party I support is to promote flexible studying. This approach allows students to tailor their studies to their personal circumstances, such as work, caregiving responsibilities, or other commitments. It enables them to progress at a pace and in a manner that suits them without compromising the quality of education. Moreover, the rise of digital learning tools presents an opportunity to make education more flexible and accessible, ultimately enhancing the learning experience. The student party plays a vital role in shaping policies at TU/e. By actively engaging with the university administration and representing students' interests, the party works toward creating more flexibility in the educational offerings. Advocating for flexible studying ensures that the university responds to the diverse needs of the student community.Flexible studying benefits not only individual students but also the university as a whole. It increases accessibility to education, boosts motivation, and reduces dropout rates. Students can balance their studies with work or other responsibilities, leading to a better work-life balance and improved graduation rates.Flexible studying is crucial for the success and inclusivity of education at TU/e. The student party advocating for this plays a key role in improving the educational system and creating equal opportunities for all students. That is why I support this party in its pursuit of a more flexible and future-proof education policy.
